Based in St. John’s, Josée Tremblay is accountable for all of Suncor’s offshore production, development and exploration on Canada’s east coast. Included in the region are the operatorship of the Terra Nova FPSO and the joint-venture partnerships in the Hibernia, White Rose and Hebron developments.
Before joining Suncor, Josée was an executive at INPEX Corporation, in the projects division. Prior to that, she held various leadership roles with ConocoPhillips internationally and in Canada. Her deep background in asset management, operations, projects and safety leadership includes 25 years of progressive experience in the offshore and E&P industry. Josée joined Suncor as the vice president engineering in the exploration and production (E&P) business in 2018.
Originally from Quebec, Josée holds a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of Calgary, a Strategic Decision and Risk Management Certificate from Stanford School of Engineering and an Executive Education Certificate in finance and accounting from Rice University.
