C-NLOPB Environmental Documents Available For Public Comment

The Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Offshore Petroleum Board’s (C-NLOPB) responsibility for environmental protection includes ensuring both Environmental Assessments (EAs) and Strategic Environmental Assessments (SEAs) are conducted. EAs are completed during the application for approval to conduct exploration or development programs, by either the C-NLOPB or the Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency (CEA Agency), depending on the program. SEAs are completed prior to any Call for Bids. EAs and their associated documentation are available here. SEAs and their associated documentation are available here.

Written comments on documents associated with Accord Act EAs or SEAs will be accepted until the date specified. Comments can be submitted to the address below or via email to information@cnlopb.ca.
