Noia Remembers Flight 491

(St. John’s) – On the 10th anniversary of Flight 491, Noia remembers the victims of the tragic event. On March 12, 2009, Flight 491 was flying to the White Rose and the Hibernia fields when it crashed offshore. Of the 18 passengers on board the helicopter, 17 were lost.

The Annual Flight 491 Memorial Service will take place today (Tuesday, March 12) at 7:00 p.m. at the Elim Pentecostal Tabernacle, Kenmount Road, St. John’s. Pre-service music will commence at 6:30 p.m.

Noia, Growlers and Edge Partner to Support Oil & Gas Industry

(St. John’s, NL) – Noia, the Newfoundland Growlers and St. John’s Edge are excited to announce a collaborative effort to highlight the importance of the Newfoundland and Labrador offshore oil & gas industry. An “I ❤️ NL Oil & Gas” logo will be featured on the ice by the Growlers and on the court by the Edge for two games in March.

On Saturday, March 9th at 7:00 p.m. the North Division-leading Growlers faceoff against the Orlando Solar Bears in exciting ECHL action and the logo will be placed near centre ice. On Sunday, March 17th at 2:00 p.m. Central Division leaders St. John’s Edge take on the Saint John Riptide and the logo will be placed court side.

Noia Industry Achievement Awards Presented

Noia Emphasizes Importance of Atlantic Accord Prior to Prime Minister’s Visit

As the federal and provincial governments are currently engaged in a review of one of the most fundamental documents to the offshore oil & gas industry, the Atlantic Accord, Noia calls upon the Prime Minister to respect the impact the Accord has had in allowing our industry to flourish and ensure these legislated benefits remain protected, and indeed enhanced, in any potential revisions to the Accord.
